Staff Profile – Tracey Chase

Today we get to know a little more about Tracey!  Tracey is one of the admin staff at Brisbane Foot Clinic.  You will find her smiling face at the front desk on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings! Make sure you say g’day next time you are in the clinic.  Tracey was kind enough to answer some questions for us so you can all get to know her better.

Where were you born? Dannevirke, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand

 

What sort of work have you done in your career so far? I was a bar manager in New Zealand, then moved to Australia and worked at the Commonwealth Bank in Sydney. When we moved to Brisbane I applied for the job at the Brisbane Foot Clinic.

 

How long have you worked at Brisbane Foot Clinic for? I think I’ve been here for nearly 3 years

 

Best part about working at Brisbane Foot Clinic?  I get to meet people from all walks of life and I work with an awesome bunch of of people who are dedicated to their work and especially to our patients. 

 

Do you have any nicknames? Chase and Pai

 

Do you have any pets? We have 1 fish

 

Family? My partner and I have 3 children, 2 boys and a little princess

 

Favourite Food? I love a roast dinner, with roasted veges and mashed potatoes

 

Favourite Sports? Tennis, touch rugby and netball

 

What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work? I enjoy watching my kids play sport and spending time together as a family out on the water.

 

Staff Profile – Wayne Robinson

Today’s staff profile is all about the boss!  Wayne has been a Podiatrist in the Browns Plains area for over a decade now so if you have ever come into Brisbane Foot Clinic, odds are you have seen him around!  He was kind enough to answer a few questions about himself so we can get to know him better.

Where were you born? Melbourne

Where did you study Podiatry? I studied at QUT in Brisbane

How long have you been a Podiatrist for? 13 years, it was my second career

What was your first career? I was a Medical Laboratory Scientist and I worked for Sullivan Nicolaides

Favourite conditions to treat? I really like performing nail surgeries and also treating sports injuries or anything to do with a person’s biomechanics

Best part about being a Podiatrist? You get to meet a whole range of people.  I also like the fact that I can help people, especially when they walk in with pain and walk out feeling significantly better

Family? My wife Leonie, 3 daughters -Keely, Lauren and Imogen, and 1 greyhound -Ebony.

Favourite food? Anything spicy!  Indian, Mexican, Thai

Favourite sports? Favourite sport to play is golf and soccer. Favourite sport to watch is pretty much anything.  Favourite team – NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS!!

What is your favourite thing to do outside of work? Play golf or soccer, watch sports, socialise with friends and family and play taxi for the kids!

Staff Profile – Peta Bartlett

Today’s staff profile is all about Peta.  Peta is part of the administration team at Brisbane Foot Clinic.  Peta works Wednesday night, all day Thursday and Friday afternoons.  Make sure you say hi to her next time you are in the clinic!

What sort of work have you done in your career so far?My previous jobs consist of Site Administrator / HR-Payroll Administrator

 

How long have you worked at Brisbane Foot Clinic for? I have been working at Brisbane Foot clinic for 9 months

 

Best part about working at Brisbane Foot Clinic? Our Team – We have lots of fun on social catch ups as well as lunch breaks

 

Do you have any nicknames? Betty Boo, Ridge

 

Family? I have a large extended family which live in NSW and VIC, but my immediate family Mum, Dad and two brothers live in QLD

 

Favourite Food? Roast Lamb and Chocolate

 

Favourite Sports? NRL I support NSW blues and Bulldogs

 

What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work? BBQ catch up with family and friends

Staff Profile – Henry Wang

Today we welcome our newest Brisbane Foot Clinic Podiatrist- Mr Henry Wang. Henry joined the team in late January so we decided to ask him a few questions so you can all get to know him a little better

Where were you born?

I was born in Taiwan and moved to Brisbane when I was 11 years old.

Where did you study Podiatry?

I went to Queensland University of Technology and completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) degree.

Favourite conditions to treat?

Anything to do with sports medicine, paediatric conditions and diabetic related foot conditions.

Best part about being a Podiatrist?

Being a Podiatrist gives me the opportunity to meet a variety of people, which I really enjoy. I also like seeing happy faces on patients and receiving appreciation from them after my treatment. It always makes my day when people walk out feeling better.

Nicknames?

I don’t really have a nickname, but a lot of people tend to call me Harry which I’m not too sure why….

Family?

Just mum, dad and an older brother. Pretty simple.

Favourite Food?

I love noodles. I will eat anything that’s got noodles in it!

Favourite Sports?

I am not a very sporty guy, but I do enjoy a casual run every now and then and playing basketball with my friends.

Favourite thing about living in Brisbane?

The weather of course! I also love the environment and it is very peaceful too.

What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work?

I really love to hang out with my friends during my spare time. But when my friends are busy, I will find a comfortable spot and watch my favourite TV shows. Sometimes during stormy weather, I will sit in front of the window, listen to music and enjoy the storm.

Staff Profile – Neha Sharma

Welcome to our second staff profile blog!  Neha Sharma is a senior member of our administration team and we asked her a few questions so you can get to know her better!

Where were you born?

I was born in Brisbane and have lived in the area my whole life.

What did you study at university?

I went to Griffith University and studied a Bachelor of Business where I majored in Human Resources and minored in Employment Relations.

How long have you worked at Brisbane Foot Clinic for?

I have been working at BFC for almost 3 years now.

Best part about working at Brisbane Foot Clinic?

Our team here is quite laid back so it makes working here fun! I really like when we have themed lunches and everyone brings a plate to share. I also like seeing all the patients that come in frequently. You start to get to know everyone and form great relationships.

Nicknames?

Don’t really have any nicknames.

Family?

I live with my parents, I have an older brother and  have recently welcomed a puppy named Simba to the family! He is a Cavoodle and I love him.

Favourite Food?

This is difficult as I am a bit of a foodie! I would have to say Italian and Indian

Favourite Sports?

NRL! Go Broncos!

What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work?

Spend time with family and friends. I enjoy keeping fit by going to the gym and love to travel and explore different countries!
